Salesforce Developer - Full-Time | Hybrid | Chicago, IL



Key Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of the Salesforce platform, including integrations, security, and user management.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth data flow between Salesforce and other systems, supporting business processes and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Work closely with finance, sales, marketing, and product teams to optimize workflows and system functionality.
  • Manage timelines and maintain functional and technical documentation to support business requirements.
  • Oversee user roles, profiles, permission sets, and security settings to ensure compliance and prevent data risks.
  • Develop and maintain complex Flows, Validation Rules, and automation to drive operational efficiencies.
  • Design and implement custom solutions using Apex, LWC, Aura Components, Visualforce, REST API, and other Salesforce development tools.
  • Conduct testing, debugging, and user acceptance processes to ensure seamless deployment of new features and enhancements.
  • Stay updated on new Salesforce features and integrations, providing recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Apply best practices to align Salesforce with business objectives and enhance system performance.
  • Document system architecture and maintain data governance standards to ensure data quality.
  • Analyze business requirements and propose scalable technical solutions that align with long-term strategy.


Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in Salesforce development across various Salesforce clouds (Sales, Marketing, Service, and Platform).
  • Proficient with Apex, LWC, Aura Components, Visualforce, SQL, SOQL, GitHub, and JavaScript.
  • Strong analytical skills to design and implement solutions that meet business needs and requirements.
  • Well-rounded in both functional and technical aspects of CRM engagements.
  • Ability to problem-solve, foster innovative ideas, and thrive in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment.
