Our client is seeking a Vice President - Tech Lead to join their Investment Technology team. This is a hybrid role based in New York City and offers a unique opportunity to develop cutting-edge solutions in a transactional financial reporting and investment finance environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of full-stack financial applications, focusing on transactional reporting and robust investment finance solutions.
• Drive the design and development of user-facing applications using C#, Angular, and React to support financial operations.
• Perform backend development, focusing on data manipulation and migration (ETL) for transactional systems.
• Work within an Azure-based environment, optimizing cloud-native capabilities for scalability and performance.
• Collaborate with technical and project management teams to deliver high-impact solutions.
• Leverage relational database platforms and Snowflake for effective data processing, with a strong emphasis on real-time data handling.
• Develop solutions for investment management and finance-focused challenges, ensuring efficient and accurate financial operations.

Qualifications

• Strong experience as a Full-Stack Developer with expertise in C#, Angular, React, and backend systems.
• Proficiency in Python and its application in financial technology is a plus.
• Demonstrated experience in building transactional financial reporting systems and user-facing applications.
• Hands-on experience with Azure cloud platforms and cloud-native development.
• Working knowledge of relational database platforms and Snowflake.
• Experience with data consolidation and reconciliation applications.
• Familiarity with data warehouse and reporting concepts.
• Finance and investment technology experience is a strong advantage.
