Salesforce Platform Developer (m/w/d), Zurich

About the role:

Your responsibilities:

• Collaborate with administrators, application managers, and external teams to analyze and validate both technical and business requirements.
• Design and build custom user interfaces, leveraging tools like Lightning Components, Visualforce, and other platform features.
• Develop and deploy Salesforce solutions using Apex, JavaScript, LWC, and related technologies to align with business objectives.
• Integrate Salesforce with external systems to enable efficient data exchange and automation of workflows.
• Contribute to the architectural design of Salesforce, ensuring seamless integration into the company's IT ecosystem.
• Occasionally handle no-code tasks, such as designing flows to streamline business processes.
• Be prepared to support release activities during off-hours or weekends when necessary.

Your qualifications:

• In-depth knowledge of Salesforce Sales and Service Cloud; familiarity with Marketing Cloud is an advantage.
• Strong understanding of declarative development (flows, sharing rules, user interface configuration).
• Proficiency in object-oriented programming with Apex and experience in web development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
• Hands-on experience with Lightning Components, Visualforce, and deployment tools.
• Knowledge of SOQL/SQL for database querying and a solid understanding of REST/SOAP APIs.
• Proven ability to monitor, test, and troubleshoot Salesforce applications.
• Fluent in English and German, with excellent communication skills.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Salesforce developer; certifications are a plus.
• Degree or equivalent qualification in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
• Team-oriented mindset, with a proactive approach and a passion for continuous learning.
