Salesforce Release Manager role

We're seeking an experienced professional to manage and streamline the release process for Salesforce environments. This role will focus on coordinating deployments, improving release efficiency, and ensuring minimal disruption across projects. You'll work closely with technical and business teams to drive consistent and stable changes within a Salesforce ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities:

  Coordinate and manage release activities across multiple Salesforce environments.
• 
  
  Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure successful and timely deployments.
• 
  
  Maintain a release calendar and manage release-related documentation.
• 
  
  Oversee metadata and data migrations, as well as deployment of configuration and code changes.
• 
  
  Partner with QA to ensure proper testing and validation of updates.
• 
  
  Troubleshoot deployment issues and ensure timely resolution.
• 
  
  Manage change control processes and ensure all changes follow required protocols.
• 
  
  Serve as the central point of communication for release status and updates.
• 
  
  Conduct post-release evaluations to identify opportunities for improvement.
• 
  
  Promote best practices in release management, including automation and CI/CD workflows.

Qualifications:

• 
  
  4+ years of hands-on experience in Salesforce release management or similar roles.
• 
  
  Strong familiarity with Salesforce architecture and deployment tools (e.g., Change Sets, Salesforce DX, Gearset, Copado, ANT).
• 
  
  Experience working with version control and branching strategies (e.g., Git, Bitbucket).
• 
  
  Understanding of Salesforce development lifecycle, including sandboxes and environment management.
• 
  
  Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of handling multiple releases in parallel.
• 
  
  Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach.
• 
  
  Salesforce certifications are a plus.
