Network Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Network Administrator to oversee and optimize a sophisticated network infrastructure comprising fifteen core nodes and four firewalls running eBGP. This role involves configuring firewalls, managing VPN solutions, monitoring network performance, and ensuring robust security measures are in place.

Responsibilities:

Configure and troubleshoot firewalls and ACLs, including setting up various VPN tunnels.
Manage Palo Alto Networks firewalls to enhance security and regulatory compliance.
Administer Windows Server environments, including Active Directory and DNS.
Implement and maintain VPN solutions with Palo Alto GlobalProtect for secure remote access.
Monitor and optimize network performance for seamless communication and threat mitigation.
Required Skills and Certifications:

Experience with Palo Alto Networks (PA-3220) and Cisco technologies.
Proficiency in managing Nexus and IE switches, ISE, DUO, and Layer 2 switches.
Familiarity with Comtrol, Ruggedcom, VMware, Solar Winds, and UniFi Wi-Fi.
Certifications such as CCNP (Cisco Certified Network Professional) and PCNSE (Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer).
Strong knowledge of Windows Server 2016/2019 and Linux operating systems.
This role demands expertise in network administration, firewall management, VPN solutions, and a deep understanding of the technologies in use to ensure optimal network performance and security.
