Our client is seeking a skilled Salesforce Business Analyst to join their team remotely.

    Position: Salesforce Business Analyst
    Location: Remote (Preference for candidates in Chicago area, but other nearby markets considered)
    Salary: $100,000 per annum

    Role Overview:
    As a Salesforce Business Analyst, you will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between technical solutions and business needs. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience working with Salesforce, with a focus on business analysis alongside hands-on experience within the Salesforce environment. You will primarily be responsible for core Business Analyst tasks, including requirement gathering, leading meetings, training, and identifying opportunities for process improvement.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Conducting day-to-day activities within the Salesforce environment, including ticket management, user management, troubleshooting, and generating reports and dashboards.
    Supporting integration initiatives between Salesforce and other ERP systems, requiring knowledge of training and understanding of integration processes.
    Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful integration and alignment of Salesforce solutions with business objectives.
    Maintaining clear documentation and effectively communicating technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
    Demonstrating self-sufficiency and the ability to work autonomously without the need for micromanagement.

    Requirements:

    Extensive experience as a Salesforce Business Analyst, with hands-on experience in Salesforce administration.
    Proficiency in Salesforce administration tasks, including user management, troubleshooting, and report/dashboard generation.
    Strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts to business stakeholders and vice versa.
    Experience working in smaller team environments, ideally with 3-4 team members.
    Familiarity with DevOps processes and ability to manage project workflows effectively.
    Personality Fit:

    Excellent communication skills with a clear and concise communication style.
    Strong preference for candidates who thrive in documenting processes and procedures.
    Self-motivated and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.

    Responsibilities:
    • Collaborate closely with a team of Engineers and a Project Manager (Scrum Master) to ensure readiness for Scrum Events and maintain the context/vision for the value delivered to client users and stakeholders.
    • Assist clients in identifying the most crucial work to support their long-term objectives.
    • Work alongside the Project Manager and Engineers to help clients define their Quarterly Priorities for Salesforce.

    • Manage client expectations regarding the delivery of Quarterly Priorities.
    • Translate and communicate the work required to complete client priorities to client users and stakeholders, and keep clients informed about progress.
    • Ensure alignment and clarity around MVP as the quarter progresses.
    • Lead Sprint Review/Demo meetings with the client and Engineers to ensure proper demonstration and sharing of all work with the client.
    • Conduct conversations with clients to listen to concerns, questions, and feedback, and escalate risks internally as needed.
    • Provide support for client-facing User Adoption, Change Management, and Training as required.


    Requirements:
    • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Salesforce Business Analyst OR 2 years of experience serving as a Product Owner.
    • At least 1 year of experience configuring Salesforce (Salesforce certifications, including Salesforce Certified Business Analyst, are advantageous).
    • 1 year of experience working with nonprofit organizations.
    • 1 year of change management experience.
    • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodology (CSPO certification preferred).
    • Enthusiasm for managing complex and often ambiguous projects.
    • Proficient at communicating with high-level stakeholders, including C-suite and above.
    • Capable of adapting quickly in a fast-paced environment and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
    • Skilled at defining KPIs and leading teams to achieve outcomes, including defining and adhering to MVP in technical work.
    • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to design visual communication.
    • Proficient in facilitating meetings, setting goals, addressing challenges, and fostering a collaborative environment.
    • Adept at problem-solving and motivated to improve processes and outcomes.
