On June 21st and 22nd, Mason Frank International joined Salesforce, along with 40 partners, to take part in the annual Salesforce Regatta in Portsmouth, England. The event is organized annually to bring together Salesforce partners within the community and recognize excellence among the UK and Ireland.
The races took place over two days and saw the Salesforce Partners pushed to their limits, collaborating with each other and competing hard to come out on top and take home the prize, a prize worth fighting for. Cold, hard victory.
We pushed hard, we took no mercy, and had the dubious honor of coming 40th. Sadly, it appears we’re made for finding the best Salesforce professionals and perhaps sailing isn’t our greatest strength (yet).
Despite our less than desirable performance, we were thrilled to be involved with the regatta. It was a pleasure to join a part of the Salesforce ecosystem that we don’t get to celebrate often enough.
Our CMO, Kashif Naqshbandi, who was part of the eight-man team, described his experience. “It was incredible to see Partners, who essentially compete with each other, coming together, showing genuine admiration for each other and wanting to be part of this fun event. The opportunity to spend time with others who share a passion for Salesforce was so valuable. Hearing other partners’ passion for the platform filled us with pride and a drive to continue to work with them to help grow the ecosystem.”
